Premise and Major Takeaway Points from the “5 Strategies” Article:

• Large Language Models (LLMs) like ChatGPT are already being adopted in classrooms in ways that can both help and hurt learning.
• There are many well-proven but difficult to implement teaching strategies that LLMs can help make more accessible.
• AI is a tool to augment instructors, not replace them. Outputs need careful vetting.
• When implemented thoughtfully, AI can be a "force multiplier" for evidence-based teaching strategies.
• AI may increase instructor capacity and support effective teaching practices at scale.
